Membership Guidelines

To M.E. or not to M.E. has never had "rules for posting" before. We never had to! Lately, there have been some incidences that make rules a must. "Thou shalt not's" are just so off-putting though aren't they? Here are the To M.E. or not to M.E. "Thou Shalt's"!

"Have fun" is our number one rule. We're here for support, companionship and information; all of which are more easily attainable when folks are having fun.

We're a "G" rated group. Please keep your posts family friendly. (no swearing, racist or homophobic comments in the group; no crude stuff, adult links, etc.)  (The Singles board is an exception to this rule)

Please post your introduction within 3 days of joining

Please be kind to our Managers who are working hard to keep this group active and safe and who don't like the need for having rules any better than you do.

Please post at least once a week on the chit chat thread. Lurking is always acceptable due to poor health but constant lurking makes our members who do participate feel exposed.

Chat time is 8 PM on Wednesdays. You certainly don't have to be "on time", but please be understanding of those who've been typing for an hour already and want to leave. Just bid them "good-bye" graciously and promise yourself you'll arrive earlier next week lol.

Chat is a time for all of us to have a good time with each other, talk over things we need to figure out, and basically just bond on a little deeper level. Please be sure to include everyone in your conversations.
